City College Brighton and Hove

Located in the centre of the "city by the sea", City College Brighton and Hove offers a
wide selection of vocational courses, academic and vocational A levels, BTEC National
and First Diplomas and NVQs form which to choose. The College offers progression to
its own Higher Education courses in conjunction with the University of Brighton. Each
year over 2,000 full-time learners, 13,000 part-time learners as well as many
international and European students choose City College as their education provider.

The College was recently awarded a CoVE (Centre of Vocational Excellence) in Digital
Design, its third such award in two years. Working with Quality Communications, the
college's Art and Design students are currently preparing work for a 32-page comic.
With a 20,000 print-run and to be distributed around Brighton & Hove in October, the
comic will promote the ProCon 2005 and Comic Expo events.

Channel 4, Universal and MTV and accolades include the Macromedia Site of the Day Award for Bourne Supremacy and the Creative

Tiga

Tiga is The Independent Games Developers Association. Launched in 2001, Tiga has 90+ full and affiliate members out of some 120
independent development studios in the UK plus European Development Studios from Denmark, The Netherlands, Austria, Finland and
Sweden.

Tiga's main priority is to keep independent developers in Britain and Europe at the heart of the global games industry. Tiga lobbies
government and political agencies as well as publishers and also works with the financial institutions that invest in games. Members gain
access to Tiga's wealth of expertise, training and services as well as the opportunity to pool their experiences with other members.
Wired Sussex

Wired Sussex is the business development agency for over 1,200 digital media companies in the South East. Wired Sussex is expert in
bidding for and managing funding from a huge variety of sources. Since 1997, Wired Sussex has successfully developed projects from a
growing number of organisations such as Business Link, The Learning and Skills Council, South East England Development Agency
(SEEDA) and the European Social Fund.

The aim of Wired Sussex is to increase profile and to encourage the growth of the digital media industry in Sussex and the South East.
